Testing the water...

I been testing Ubuntu 10.10 for a while in attempt to broaden my knowledge of Linux. So far I found it really easy to use although it feel strange from Windows environment.

I alway keen on looking for new thing in the technology world, either hardware or software type.

At the moment I experimenting on how many Windows software version I can install on Linux using Wine.

So far I mange to install some application of Office 2007 (Words, Excel and Publisher) work while other just don't run at all, also I got Labcenter 7.7 going ( Which do PCB design for Electronics).

My next attempt is to try install some games, I suspect that is more different task altogether and harder due to have demand on hardware (graphic and sound).

I manage to get access to some of my servers at work, via VNC and RDC (Remote Desktop Connection).
